As part of a deal with BCD Travel, Easyjet has confirmed it will work with BCD Meetings & Incentives in Europe to further extend its offering among corporate groups and travellers.

The new partnership, which also includes the BCD Meetings & Incentives division, provides Easyjet with access to BCD Travel's extensive corporate travel client base and makes it easier for BCD to offer its clients the airline's services.

Easyjet European sales director Toby Joseph described the deal as "another indication of the significant progress we have made developing our corporate travel services over the last couple of years."

It comes after Easyjet launched a new 'inclusive fare' for corporate passengers and travel bookers last September.

Thomas Stöckel, senior VP of supplier relations for BCD Travel's EMEA region said: "We're pleased to be able to offer our corporate clients Easyjet content and to help our new airline partner expand the channels through which travellers and travel arrangers may book its service.

"We think the corporate travel space represents a great opportunity to Easyjet for growing its business. And Easyjet offers great value to businesses looking for low-cost options in Europe."

Last month, Ryanair also revealed its plans to target the corporate travel sector with the launch of a new groups and corporate travel service.
