Hyatt Hotels to open Germany's first Andaz property

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has partnered with the Jost Hurler group to develop a new Andaz hotel in Munich, the brand's first property in Germany.

Andaz Munich will include 274 rooms hotel and will be situated in central Munich in the Schwabinger Tor district as part of a mixed-use site, which will include apartments, retail shops, and restaurants.

The Andaz Salon, the brand’s signature cultural programme, will be a feature of the new hotel and will provide facilities for conferences and events

Albert Heinermann, managing director of the Jost Hurler group, said: "Andaz Munich will be a great addition to Schwabinger Tor, and we feel this hotel and brand will resonate with the business and leisure community in Munich and throughout Germany."

Andaz Munich is scheduled to open in 2017 and will become the hotel chain’s third European development, with other worldwide properties in London, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, and Shanghai.
