Top Banana achieved 20% of its projected annual turnover in January, increasing yearly projections from £5.8m to £6.6m, with a 40% increase in client spend also predicted.

The agency has also secured Sheffield-based parcel delivery company Tuffnells Parcels Express as a new client. Top Banana will deliver the company's 100-year anniversary event next month for 160 delegates, which will take place at the Heart of England Conference & Events Centre (pictured) in Coventry.

Top Banana managing director Nick Terry said: "We’ve had a number of great wins already this year, with some ambitious events to look forward to.

"Confidentiality precludes us from sharing a lot of our news but these events are of significant strategic importance to the companies, which is great for us."

Top Banana announced in December that it will open a new London-based office as part of a £250,000 investment, following a successful 2013.
