Heineken will host 80 people for a golf day at Celtic Manor on 23 May, prior to European Rugby's Heineken Cup on 24 May in Cardiff.

For pre-match hospitality, Heineken will host more than 600 international trade customers in a marquee in the grounds of Cardiff Castle.

The European Rugby Cup (ERC) will be hosting a fan zone outside the castle for around 20,000 fans.

After the match at the nearby Millennium Stadium, guests will return to the marquee to watch the Champion's League final on a large screen.

Billy MacNeill, events manager of Heineken UK's corproate relations team, said: "It will be a super Saturday of sport for our trade customers.

"Cardiff Castle has a small entrance, so there are logistical challenges in setting up a marquee. However, it is a venue with a 'wow' factor. We last used it in 2010. In the evening we will tastefully light up the castle with the Heineken Cup logo.

"Celtic Manor has the 'wow' factor for golfers and is also a Heineken customer. We always use venues and hotels that sell Heineken."
