More than 700 delegates and experts are expected to attend the two-day annual conference in Bournemouth.

The British Academy of Audiology has also booked the Bournemouth International Centre for 2017.

Pat Coyne, director of venues for leisure and cultural trust, BH Live, said: "We have seen a real growth in medical conferences coming to the Bournemouth International Centre for their annual events and are thrilled to be welcoming the British Academy of Audiology for the first time.

"In addition to this year's event, dates have also been confirmed for the 2017 conference and exhibition and we hope this will lead to the BAA becoming a regular visitor to the town."
