The investment will be spent on redesigning the ground floor as well as renovating an entire block of the hotel. The new block will comprise of 37 large bedrooms and will be renamed ‘The Ascot Building’ with bookings now being made for 2014 and 2015.

A new bar is to be installed on the ground floor of the hotel.

Over the last five years the four-star property, located on the banks of the River Thames, has invested £8.5m into refurbishing its conference facilities, which now consist of 33 meeting rooms catering for up to 250 people and 25 new executive bedrooms.

The hotel is hoping to launch itself into the incentive industry in 2014 with its sporting facilities. A permanent marquee has also been upgraded and can be used for outdoor events.
