Starwood to open five-star property in Perth

A five-star Westin Hotel, operated by The Starwood Group, is set to open in Perth in Western Australia in 2017.

The 300-room property will be built on the site of the former Perth fire station on Hay Street in the city's Central Business District area and will offer 1,200 sqm of function space as well as a rooftop swimming pool.

"The hotel will deliver a massive boost for tourism, providing much needed rooms in Perth's CBD for leisure and corporate visitors to Western Australia," said Tourism Minister Liza Harvey.
