The Philips Lighting Conference will host 250 employees at the ICC Birmingham. The aim of the event is to update employees on the business and to encourage team building.
A spokesperson from Philips said: "We chose the ICC because of its central location in the country and its facilities. A a lot of the arrangements are already available in-house as opposed to buying them in, such as production services, for example."
This is the second time Philips has visited the ICC Birmingham for a staff conference within a month. In January, the venue hosted 430 Philips Healthcare employees for a two-day conference.
Last week, the ICC Birmingham also hosted a staff conference for Mitchells & Butlers, which owns restaurants and pubs including O'Neill's and Harvester.
