DRP Group launches new exhibitions division

DRP Group is expanding into the exhibitions sector with the launch of DRP Exhibitions.

DRP Group has launched DRP Exhibitions, a new division which will focus on offering services for exhibitions including global project management, the design and building of exhibition stands and graphic creation.

DRP Group's expansion into the exhibition sector follows the agency’s continued growth over the last 12 months, which has seen the appointment of more than 25 new team members.

While DRP Group has been delivering some elements of exhibition work with existing clients, it has seen an increase in demand for higher quality exhibitions and the need for a dedicated resource to be on hand. 

DRP Exhibitions will sit within the rest of the full servicing offering, but also as a standalone operational service, building its own clients.

DRP Group welcomes back Ed Vickery to lead the new division. Vickery left DRP eight years ago and has since held roles at exhibitions and design agencies such as Iguana Group and the DSA. 

Vickery said: "The timing has never been better for event agencies to hybridise with the exhibitions world. Working with, and as part of, The DRP Group, I intend to set new trends in the exhibitions sector, closing the perceived gap between the events and exhibition industries – all whilst increasing attendance, interaction, engagement and reporting. It’s set to be an exciting year ahead."

Last week, DRP Group expanded its production capabilities with the acquisition of London-based multimedia production company Grosvenor TV.

DRP Group also opened an experiential division last year following a number of new recruits.
