EDF has appointed Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) to manage its business travel requirements for the next four years following an extensive RFP process.

The new contract will see CWT continue to manage the EDF Global Travel Program in France, Belgium, Italy and the UK, expanding its footprint throughout 2014.

"We’re thrilled that EDF has recognized the flexibility of our proposal, our high sense of customer focus and our innovation when awarding this business," said Bertrand Mabille, executive vice president, France & Mediterranean countries, CWT.

"Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and we look forward to building on our already strong relationship and developing bespoke solutions to drive EDF’s savings objectives."
