Jaguar has terminated its three-year contract with Grass Roots Meetings & Events, which it appointed in May 2012 to deliver b2b and b2c experiential events.
Grass Roots account director Jonny Morris, who headed up the Jaguar account has left the agency, and it is understood that opportunities within the business are being explored for the other four members of the team.
In December, Jaguar's event manager Marcus Wall left after 14 years. The automotive brand has been reviewing its event programmes, including track events, since early December.
Grass Roots Meetings & Events divisional director Des Mclaughlin, said: "It is a shame that we have lost this business after more than 20 years. After our main contact left last year, it was always going to put us in a vulnerable position. Following our restructure, this gives us the opportunity to now establish clearer aims for moving forward in 2014."
A Jaguar spokesperson said: "Jaguar would like to thank Grass Roots for its work to date. The company undertook a review of its agency support in 2013 as part of a consolidation programme across the business, but is unable to comment on details of current or future supplier contracts."
