The National Federation of Retail Newsagents is returning to Bournemouth for the first time in 12 years for its annual conference this summer.

Around 250 independent newsagents will be attending the NFRN’s 95th Annual Conference which will take place at the Bournemouth International Centre on 9-10 June.

A trade exhibition will run alongside the conference and on the first night there will be a gala dinner with more than 400 guests expected to attend.

Mike Mitchelson, chairman of the Federation’s events committee, said: "Up until 2002 the NFRN frequently held its annual conference in Bournemouth before it dropped off our conference circuit.

"We are now delighted to be returning to the town for our 2014 conference after being away for 12 years. We are looking forward to a successful conference and hope that Bournemouth will, once again, become a regular venue on our conference circuit in the years to come."
