Q Hotels and EEF Venues dominate Venue Verdict awards

Q Hotels and EEF Venues picked up two accolades each at BDRC Continental's Venue Verdict awards.

Q Hotels picked up the Gold Standard Brand award after six of its hotels were awarded Venue Verdict's Gold Standard Accreditation in 2013. It was also named named as the best large group (20+ venues) for meetings venues.

Managing director of Q Hotels, Michael Purtill, said: "We’re really pleased to have been honoured with three of the most prestigious accolades from Venue Verdict. 

"It’s fair to say that 2013 has been a fantastic award-winning year for QHotels. We can’t wait to see what the rest of 2014 holds for us."

EEF Venues was recognised as the top meetings venue in smallest category – 'three to five venues'.

Etc Venues picked up the same award in the 'six to 19 venues' category. 

James Bland, client services director at BDRC Continental, said: "Over the seven years that we have been running this programme, we have seen a consistent increase in quality standards from the many participating venues."

The Venue Verdict awards are based entirely on customer feedback. BDRC Continental collected feedback from 22,000 meeting event hosts from 360 venues.
