Getting there: Røros is a 50-minute plane journey from Oslo Airport, with flights available every day except Saturday. The destination can also be reached by car from Trondheim airport and there are regular train departures from both Oslo and Trondheim. It has a population of around 5,600 and the airport is in walking distance from the town centre.
Conference facilities: Storstuggu, the culture and conference centre in Røros, has a variety of meeting rooms with capacity for up to 600 delegates.
Incentive options: Delegates can try their hand at being fearless adventurers for the day, experiencing dog sledding on the Rørosvidda with Alaskan huskies and sleds. Ice fishing on Haugatjønna is also available. Haugatjønna is one of Europe's best fishing lakes and each year an ice fishing competition attracting up to 900 participants is organised on the lake. For a summer incentive with a difference, organise a paddle around Femunden, Norway’s third largest lake. Canoeing is a relaxing, comfortable and exciting way to explore the area.
