Hilton opens Istanbul's largest hotel and conference centre

Hilton Hotels has opened the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Centre, which becomes the Turkish capital's largest conference property.

The Hilton Istanbul Bomonti Hotel & Conference Centre yesterday opened its doors to guests and is the hotel group's 24th propery in Turkey.

The hotel occupies 829 rooms and 12,000 square metres of event space, which has the capacity to cater for up to 6,350 guests at any one time, with the largest pillar-free ballroom in the city.

Rob Palleschi, global head of Hilton Hotels & Resorts, said: "We are excited to be expanding our Hilton Hotels & Resorts footprint in Istanbul. Hilton Istanbul Bomonti is amongst our foremost MICE destination hotels across the world."

President of EMEA, Hilton Worldwide, Simon Vincent, added: "With its significant scale, the hotel supports Istanbul as a rapidly emerging international conference and events venue to rival locations such as London, Dubai and Prague."
