The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) Convening Leaders annual conference will live-stream the event when it takes place in Boston on 12-15 January.

In 2013, around 800 delegates registered for the live stream, which looks set to double this year, according to early registration figures.

Registered attendees will be able to see a complimentary showcase of sessions and speakers online over a 12-hour period.

Deborah Sexton, president and CEO for PCMA, said: "We believe this is an important opportunity for PCMA to showcase the content and education of our premier event for those that cannot attend because of work conflicts or budget constraints. We are only seeing a positive impact on our numbers."

Speakers at the event will include CEO of Future Think, Lisa Bodell, and renowned journalist, Tina Brown as well as sessions on crisis management and exhibitor retention strategies.

The PCMA will be providing content for this year's International Confex, taking place at Olympia from 12-13 March.
