There is lots to look forward to for event and corporate hospitality planners in 2014, with a comprehensive programme of exciting sports events scheduled to take place in the UK and Ireland.

As well as the regular annual highlights, special events coming to our shores include The Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and The Ryder Cup in Scotland, the Tour de France Grand Depart in Yorkshire and Heineken Cup Final rugby in Cardiff. Further afield, don't miss the Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia and the Fifa football World Cup in Brazil – good luck to Roy Hodgson's England team!

If you are organising events around, or taking clients to, any of these events – or any others not on our list – please get in touch by emailing cit@haymarket.com or tweeting @CITmagazine.
