Iredale, formally global events manager at Bentley Motors, had been working with Brandfuel for a number of months as a consultant but has now taken up a permanent position in the newly created role.

He spoke of how excited he was to be a part of Brandfuel, which works with clients including Google, Twitter, Uefa, Zurich and Youtube. "2014 is to be a fantastic year, with a fantastic range of new client wins and some very exciting global projects with existing clients," he said.

He added: "We look forward to creating some innovative, technology led solutions that blend creativity, surprise and insight which really do deliver enriching experiences in a meaningful way."

Before working for Bentley, Iredale was at George P Johnson and, prior to that, Imagination, where he was tasked with building relationships with automotive clients.
