The Asian conference, convention and exhibition centre has bookings for 88 key events in 2014, including 16 medical events, 16 trade shows, 19 consumer events and 37 international conferences and special events.

Insurer Prudential will be holding its Prudential Eye Awards at the venue from 17 January to 5 February, showcasing and rewarding the best artistic talent across Asia.

Other events include the Yamaha Piano Show, the HR Summit, Beauty Asia, Singapore Art Fair and Blueprint 2014, a fashion industry show expected to draw 20,000 delegates over its four-day duration.

Arun Madhok, Suntec's chief executive, said: "Our event list is a testimony to the confidence in the Suntec Singapore team and the value of the facilities and services that we offer.

"We are proud to be chosen as the preferred place to meet for so many events and will strive to remain the venue of choice for our existing and new customers."

In the five months since reopening in June after its renovation, Suntec has run 196 events and hosted 780,000 visitors.
