Model Kelly Brook's new City of London venue Steam & Rye opened to the public this week, with a number of event spaces available for private hire.

Pullman Hotels and Resorts celebrated the opening this week of its new European flagship hotel, Pullman London St Pancras, with an event showcasing the hotel's final design, services and contemporary art collection.

EIBTM 2013, one of Europe's largest trade shows for the MICE industry, took place in Barcelona this week. Patrick Delaney, MCI Group vice-president of industry relations, was presented with the EIBTM 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award, Prague launched subvention funding for large congresses and the EIBTM annual Trends report forecast better news for the meetings industry and key client sectors.
