Sainsbury's is hosting around 100 stakeholders in London today (20 November) to mark the second anniversary of its 20x20 Sustainability Plan.

The 20x20 Sustainability Plan is 20 commitments to making Sainsbury's an even more responsible business by 2020.

The event is taking place at Sainsbury's store support centre and will bring together stakeholders including suppliers, delivery partners and opinion leaders to celebrate the plan, which was launched in 2011.

Alex Cole, director of corporate affairs at Sainsbury's, is hosting the event, which will feature presentations from Sainsbury's chief executive Justin King; Jean Tomlin, chair of Sainsbury's Corporate Responsibility Committee; and Sally Uren, chief executive of Forum for the Future.

Attendees will be split into five simultaneous groups with a number of experts to discuss issues relating to Sainsbury's five corporate values and its 20x20 commitments.

The event will close with a panel discussion with key members of Sainsbury's management team, which will also include key insights from each breakout group.
