Sherwood Forest was the most popular venue, with 50% of enquiries converted into confirmed bookings from last year.

In the first half of the financial year, Center Parcs hosted annual corporate events for FMCG multinational retail brands including Fat Face and Sainsbury’s.

Ian Williams, brand and shoot production manager at Fat Face said: "A massive thanks to Center Parcs and the team at Longleat for making our time there so effective. It was a great venue for our size and requirements, and the accommodation was very well received. We have had exceptional feedback from our delegates about the event right down to the style and layout of the evening function."

Daniel Whittemore, head of corporate sales at Center Parcs, added: "Our retail conversion rates have gone from strength to strength. We are delighted to see that in a competitive environment, our unique proposition for corporate and team-building events fulfils and exceeds the retail sector needs. A significant investment across our sites has ensured that our service levels and facilities are first-class."
