Gartner returns to Dubai for IT event

Gartner is holding its 2014 Symposium ITXpo at Mina A'Salam Convention Center, Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai.

The information technology research and advisory company held its 2013 Symposium at the same venue. The event, which takes place from the 1-3 April, is aimed at helping clients and prospects find solutions to the top challenges they are facing in their roles as CIOs.

The agenda and keynote speakers for the event were announced this month and an agenda building tool will be available from January, enabling attendees to select sessions at the event.

Lisa Riley, vice president, Global Symposium at Gartner said that staff at the venue 'acted very much as our partners on-site in order to deliver the best and right experience to our attendees.'

"Dubai offers many top-rated venues and the overwhelming feedback from our attendees at the last event was that it was like nothing they have seen before in the Gulf region," she added.
