Some 16 world leaders congregated at London's Excel Centre this week for the World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF). Notable speakers included Prince Charles, Prime Minister David Cameron, London Mayor Boris Johnson and King Abdullah II of Jordan. WIEF 2013 was delivered by Smyle, who won the pitch in April this year.

Guests enjoyed views of Tower Bridge last night (31 October) at The Tower Hotel, which showcased its events space and Christmas party menu, including a giant gingerbread house.

The International Special Events Society's (ISES) UK chapter created a Halloween-themed immersive sensory experience at The Vaults in Waterloo on Tuesday.
