The division – The Big Event Company – has launched with new offices at its current London Bridge site.
Meanwhile, the agency has also recently recruited six staff in account management and operations to work in the team, led by operations manager Louise Gruchy.
The move is an expansion for the agency, which has traditionally focused on team-building but has begun to deliver larger scale events following client demand.
Recent large-scale client events have included projects for Diageo, Tesco, Axa Wealth, Just Eat, Worldpay and Apax.
Commercial director Ben Parkinson explained: "Over the past 13 years, clients have told us they loved what we did for them on team-building and wanted us to help with event management. We got to the point we felt we needed a separate division to provide event management that is still very bespoke."
The Big Event Company – which has a dedicated website – will manage events of 250 to 10,000 attendees, added Parkinson.
"It only takes a handful of these high-revenue events to have an effect on turnover," he pointed out. "So we would expect to see significant growth."
