C&IT Awards winners: Best Destination Management Company

The winner of Best Destination Management Company at the C&IT Awards 2013 was Ovation Global DMC.

Ovation Global DMC clearly has massive worldwide reach and expertise, with representation in more than 125 international destinations on four continents.

In the last year, Ovation has worked on around 4,000 events. But the volume of work has not been to the detriment of global and local sensitivities, with the company recognising its social responsibility to preserve the environment and support development in the markets it operates in. Dedicated sustainability experts, standards and guidelines are adopted as a matter of course.

Event highlights included an incentive programme for a US financial firm that saw 130 VIP staff taken to Spain in 2012. The client, which had previously worked with another DMC, has rebooked Ovation for this year's incentive programme.

Ovation has also invested its business, including overhauling and redesigning its website to reflect the personalities, knowledge and global reach that comprise Ovation. It is a DMC unparalleled in its grasp of the needs of C&I planners.
