By the date of the event, the summit had garnered 1,425 Twitter followers and accrued more than 1,000 tweets using the hashtag #gses13.
Highlights included speeches from the likes of Nick de Bois MP and plans are underway to build on the success of 2013's event, with a second summit in 2014.
