The launch of the Blackberry 10 smartphone was RIM's biggest to date. Smyle was charged with the mammoth task of introducing the handset to media and high-level business execs.
One of the main challenges was integrating its EMEA activity with other global markets, with content and messaging consistent across all territories.
Smyle was responsible for the creative used at all the global events, while providing full-service event management in London, Paris, Dubai and Johannesburg.
The launch was broadcast by the world's media, while following the event, sales of one million Blackberry 10s were achieved in February 2013, with some UK retailers selling out.
