Lighting was a key focus – the facade of the CCD was lit in Iceland's brand colour red, while open-air spotlights were projected into the air. The CCD's entire 2,000-seat ground-floor forum was used to accommodate the 1,100 delegates, alongside the auditorium and several breakout rooms.
The event's impact was impressive. Sales at Christmas were up "significantly" year-on-year and period-on-period, with the conference a significant contributor to the uplift.
