Bafta winner Ray Leek joins Smyle

Smyle has appointed Ray Leek to head up its media department overseeing the design and video teams.

Leek previously held positions at Title Film & TV and Interfield Design and, more recently, operated as a freelance strategic and creative director working for clients such as the BBC on Ashes to Ashes and Wallander, Interbrand and Net-a-porter.com.

He has won a Bafta for his titles design work on the BBC drama The Long Firm and received a nomination for Wallander.

Rick Stainton, Smyle’s managing director, said: "We are very excited about Ray’s arrival at Smyle. His mission is to add further momentum and scope to our fast growing digital and content creation teams within our integrated model, ensuring we can deliver for our clients the highest quality content across their event and live communication projects."
