The DMC representation company, based in Hampshire, also wanted to re-introduce Borealis, a professional conference organiser and incentive agency, to the UK market.

Nikki Mitchell, managing partner at Destinations Unlimited, which celebrates its 25th anniversary next year, said: "Borealis is winner of two Site Crystal Awards for the organisation of ‘Best Incentive in the World’ (2006 and 2012), Belgium’s only double Site Crystal Award Winner. We are delighted in choosing such a reputable partner for our selection of professional DMCs."

Dries Jacobus, managing director of Borealis Belgium, which he founded in 2002, added: "Belgium and Luxembourg’s great diversity, cultural wealth, very central location, short transfer times, gastronomic assets and multilingual and welcoming people make both countries such appealing destinations to visit."
