The events group unveiled a turnover of £13.6m, which it attributed to a combination of business from existing clients and "significant new business wins". Recent wins include electronic goods manufacturer Brother.

The company, whose financial year runs in the 12 months to 30 September, said it is forecasting around £17m in sales for its 2013-2014 financial year, with half of this business already confirmed.

Antony Wilson, The Fresh Group’s financial director, said: These figures are particularly pleasing as the upward trend continues. Fresh has achieved consistent and controlled growth over the last four years and has clear visibility of the same trend continuing for the foreseeable future."

Patrick Howells, the agency’s managing director, added: "We couldn’t have asked for a more positive start to our tenth year of trading. With such a high level of business already confirmed at the start of the financial year, we are looking forward to record turnover and profit for a fifth year running."
