The IEEE/MTS Oceans Conference and Exhibition on 19-22 June 2017 will bring together professionals from the global marine engineering and science community.

Last held in Aberdeen in 2007, Oceans 07 brought more than 1,000 delegates to the region and was the first time the meeting had been held in the UK.

The conference is held annually in America, with an additional programme of biennial conferences taking place consecutively between Europe and the rest of the world.

Conference chair John Watson said: "With its strong background of oil and gas technology and its growing experience in renewable energy, Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are an ideal location for Oceans and we look forward to welcoming everyone back and hopefully adding a lot of new delegates."
