Redevelopments at Emirates Old Trafford

The Point, a purpose-built conference and events venue at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, is now linked to the historic Pavilion at the venue via a footbridge.

Delegates attending events or exhibitions at The Point or the Pavilion will have direct access between each venue via a glass enclosed footbridge overlooking the famous Old Trafford cricket pitch.

Angela Hodson, venue sales manager at Emirates Old Trafford says: "Once the Pavilion was re-developed work commenced with the building of the bridge link. The bridge will allow events to grow as delegates now have easy access to break-out rooms, workshops and syndicate spaces in the Pavilion."

The Point, Lancashire County Cricket Club's conference and events centre, caters for up to 1,000 seated guests, while the Pavilion can host up to 700.
