Brand experience agency RT Marketing will assist the RFU in the creation, management and delivery of the Official England RWC Ten Year Celebration Dinner, which will take place at Battersea Evolution, London on 1 November.
Ben Shephard and former England rugby international Martin Bayfield will co-host the event, which will be attended by the 2003 World Cup-winning playing and management squad, and is expected to attract 1,200 guests.
RT Marketing, which completed a management buyout earlier this year, will run venue liaison, supplier appointment and management, production, set and stage design, entertainment and – via a third party – charity revenue-generating activity.
David Spicer, RT Marketing managing director, said: "We’re delighted to be working with the Rugby Football Union again on such a landmark project. We have enjoyed a long association with the RFU, offering major event support since 2001."
The event will incorporate a Bollinger Champagne reception, three-course dinner and exclusive after party in association with O2. A strong fundraising element will raise money for Restart and the RFU Injured Players' Foundation.
RT Marketing, which was recently appointed for next three International Fundraising Congresses, works with corporate clients including Coca-Cola, Garmin and Investec.
