Deloitte and Roche select Sopwell House

Deloitte and Roche are among corporates that have chosen to host events at Sopwell House in Hertfordshire, following a major refurbishment.

St Albans-based Sopwell House hosted corporate clients including Deloitte, Roche and mailing company Pitney Bowes.

The country retreat has recently undergone a major refurbishment of its four boardroom-style meeting rooms, reception area, cocktail lounge, terrace bar and 30 of the hotel’s 129 bedrooms, which will be completed next month.

The bedroom renovations pave the way for two new room categories: an executive suite with a balcony and the executive bedroom. Facilities in these rooms include new marble bathrooms, king-size beds, boutique design and LCD TVs with SKY HD.

The property’s spa has also undergone a £1.2m renovation.

The hotel is less than an hour from central London and within easy reach of rail, air and road links.
