Chris Parnham, who took over as managing director of Absolute Corporate Events in April after 13 years with Zibrant, has hired Jo Neville as an event manager. Neville has 20 years' experience working in venues and agencies, including IBR – the former venue find division of Zibrant.

Naiomi Grant has also joined Absolute as accommodation and venues executive, following nearly three years at Zibrant.

Parnham has also chosen to relocate Absolute Corporate Events' head offices in Nottingham and Christchurch to Chesterfield. It's understood staff numbers have remained the same.

He says: "Absolute's clients have reacted extremely well to the changes and are reaping the benefits of our new creative and production offerings, while retaining our distinctive high-touch service.

"We are pitching for lots of new live events this month and hope to report the acquisition of new clients very soon. We are also excited about our new ownership launch party, which is due to take place in London later this year, where clients old and new will get a chance to celebrate with the team."
