Grass Roots, which is to re-brand as Grass Roots Meetings and Events this September, will officially launch hospitality management as a new service, which is part of its new 'go-to-market' proposition to provide 'The A to Z of Event Management'.

Grass Roots launched the service at its New York-based office one year ago. In the UK, over the last six months, it has been working with a major client to deliver sponsorship and hospitality services globally at a number of sporting events, including the Wimbledon Championships.

In April this year, PJ Mitchell was hired as client services director at Grass Roots Live to develop the service. Mitchell joined from ATP Event Experts and had previously worked at Grass Roots between 2001 to 2005.

Caryl Tiller, business development director at Grass Roots DMS, said: "We are in conversations with dozens of potential clients and agencies to offer bespoke hospitality and sponsorship services. PJ was brought on board to develop the technology and systems behind the service before we officially go-to-market this autumn."
