Universal World Events helps Bayer celebrate 150 years

Pharmaceutical and medical product manufacturer Bayer celebrated its 150th anniversary this year with a range of events held around the world.

In the UK, its 150-year anniversary exhibition, organised by Universal World Events, took place at the Science Museum in London from 15-17 May.

The three-day interactive exhibition was based on Bayer's company mission, 'Science for a Better Life', emphasising the brand's research-led innovation. More than 1,000 people attended, including the company's customers and suppliers and medical and trade associations.

An evening reception was also held for national business leaders from UK and German organisations.

Universal World Events worked together with the Bayer UK communications team to deliver the event, which included creative services, logistics and production.

Simon Greenstreet, head of communications, UK and Ireland at Bayer, said feedback from attendees was highly complimentary. "Universal World Events handled everything seamlessly and performed with professionalism throughout, from setting up prior to the event and rehearsing our speakers."
