Virgin Media offered a VIP camping option with luxury yurts including double beds, Egyptian cotton bed linen, fresh flowers and 'psychedelic splashes of colour'.

The Louder Lounge VIP and media area was also expanded, with stalls from brands including Batiste, Pioneer and Virgin Airlines. Celebrities present included Stuart Broad, Little Mix, Idris Elba, members of One Direction and Rick Edwards.

Headline acts at the festival, which simultaneously takes place in Staffordshire and Chelmsford, included Beyonce and Kings of Leon.
