Dean joins the sales and marketing team from Ovation Incentives, where he was sales director for 18 months. Before this, in 2002, Dean set up Real World Technologies, a software company created to develop digital platforms specifically for agencies, before he selling the company to Ovation Incentives in 2011.

Dean's role will be to develop an understanding of the company's various service offerings across its digital, events and design divisions and to see how they can be aligned to the needs of various market sectors in the UK and abroad.

Dean said: "The players in our industry are a fairly close knit bunch and, over the years, you build a picture of the good and the bad in the industry. I've known the senior guys at Corporate Rewards for a while and I have always been impressed by their attitude and the stuff they produce. So when the opportunity came about I jumped at the chance and now look forward to sharing in the exciting times ahead.

"In my new role, I am looking forward to making a difference and being part of an experienced, well-oiled team with the freedom to sell our full suite of services and products. Heading up the strategic partnership team also gives me the opportunity to meet up with old industry friends and hopefully develop new ones."

Corporate Rewards has worked with clients including Dell in the past.

More: Ovation Incentives has recently opened an office in the US.
