Etihad Stadium: The home of Manchester City Football Club has overhauled its Citizens suite hospitality offering, to include four new entertaining areas unveiled this month. The space includes a new restaurant and bar seating up to 328. The four rooms, which can be hired exclusively, are located at the back of the suite.
Mottram Hall: Operated by De Vere Hotels, 120-room Mottram Hall, located in Wilmslow, a short drive from Manchester city centre, unveiled new conference and meeting facilities in April. The ground floor conference hub is part of a £6m refurbishment of the hotel and includes nine dedicated meeting rooms, which can accommodate a maximum of 100 delegates theatre style. All rooms offer natural daylight and the hub also has a self-contained refreshment hub. In May, the venue also opened its Al Fresco ThermoSpace, an outdoor thermal spa village.
Kaleido: The Kaleido restaurant, located on the top floor of the Urbis building, home to the National Football Museum, opened last year. Crown Group, which owns the Kudos catering arm that runs Kaleido, has announced plans this month to turn the restaurant into a dedicated event space.
Manchester Business School: Plans were submitted in May this year for the new Manchester Business School campus, to include conference facilities, a four-star Crowne Plaza hotel, gym, restaurant and bar. If approved, work is expected to be completed within the next six years.
