Lord's launches new event space ahead of Ashes Test match

The world's most famous cricket ground, Lord's, has launched its Committee Dining Room to the events market for the first time with an Ashes Dinner, ahead of the second England v Australia Test match, which starts on Thursday (18 July).

C&IT attended the event last thursday (11 July), which featured a reception in the England team changing room, a dinner in the Committee Dining Room, speeches and a Q&A with former England batsman  – and Strictly Come Dancing winner – Mark Ramprakash, along with former Australia fast bowler Jason Gillespie.

The Committee Dining Room is situated on the top floor of the Grade II listed Pavilion, with a balcony overlooking the iconic pitch, has a capaciity of 60s seated and is available for private hire. Associations can book the space as part of a hospitality package.
