The show, held at Excel, was cancelled due to tough economic conditions, according to a statement from Reed.
BTM, which last year was revealed to have lost its solo billing, would have been the fifth outing since it was started by Paul Robin, now chief executive at The Lord's Taverners.
"Due to tough economic conditions putting pressure on customers’ spend and time, we felt it was not possible to deliver an event that would do justice to both the industry and our customers," reads the Reed statement.
The show was set to provide education and networking as well as featured a hosted buyer programme.
World Travel Market is in its 34th year and involves 48,000 delegates.
