Evian, which has an experiential Live Young Suite at the event – attended by staff and clients as well as celebrities – said the Murray win was a great occassion. Sarah Dossett, Evian marketing manager, said: "Huge congratulations to Andy Murray - his stunning win was the perfect end to our best ever Wimbledon.

"We have had an amazing time and been able to drive Evian's Live Young spirit and iconicity throughout the tournament with the combination of some great PR, above the line creative and our fantastic social media Wimbledon Wiggle, which has been viewed over 50,000 times."

Ted Walker, head of marketing at Keith Prowse, added that there is always a huge appeal around hospitality for Wimbledon and people book simply because it is one of the most high profile and memorable experiences available. "This year however, there was a certain buzz in our main hospitality facility, the Gatsby Club, as people began to realise how close we were to a British win, especially with Federer and Nadal out of  the competition.

"2013 has certainly proved itself to be a great and even more memorable year for guests to have entertained at The Championships and we are thrilled to say that enquiries are already coming in thick and fast for 2014."
