The agency reported that the food sector – which unlike retail has been showing growth, according to the ONS – has boosted overall retail business and drives demand for events.
Evolve namechecked Kent House, Knightsbridge as a popular spot for the sector.
Anna Peters, marketing director of Evolve Events, said: "We are seeing a demonstrable uptake in enquiries and confirmations from the food market, not only because it is the time when they put on their major product launches for the Christmas season, but because there is an increasing confidence in the sector too."
She added that the summer is traditionally a time for the food sector and major retailers to present their Christmas showcases and highlight their new seasonal products and offerings.
Evolve’s recent client wins in the sector include Pret a Manger and Waitrose, but it also has a roster of retail clients and works with major global brands including Coca-Cola and Procter & Gamble.
