Johnson had previously been marketing services director at Eventia. She said: "I have hit the ground running and am enjoying getting fully immersed in the wide range of projects that FAB is involved in.

"We are developing a new and flexible business model across the four areas of the business, each person in the team has specific strengths and my role is to enable each director to focus on what they do best while assisting managing director Andrew Wright in taking Fab forward into new and exciting areas.

"It is such a pivotal time in the company's development and growth. Fab is now the management team for the uber exclusive Alderley House in Gloucestershire, as well as destination management consultants and event managers for a range of other projects and clients."

Andrew Wright, managing director of Bath-based Fab Global Events, said:  "As a company it is time for us to expand our management team and we could think of no one better than Tracy to complement us.

"We have worked together on various projects for a number of years and her skills will be a great addition to the business. We are developing a new business model to best service our existing and new clients and Tracy will play a significant part in taking this forward."
