BCD M&I’s profit is up to £173,000 from £100,000 in 2011. Meanwhile, its turnover has grown to £18.8m from £17.6m.

This is the third year in a row following the recession that BCD M&I has grown. In 2010 the company’s turnover was £13.9m.

BCD M&I financial controller Chris Jeffrey said: "The latest increase is a result of careful cost management plus an upturn in both event- and enterprise-level activity.  We are expecting profits to increase again in 2013 through increased revenue following recent wins."

Philips is among BCD’s wins in 2013 and its clients include pharmaceutical giants including Pfizer and Dupont.
