DRP Group’s managing director Dale Parmenter told C&IT that 2013 has been a great success. "By the end of April we'd made a turnover of £9m, which is more than we made in the entire year last year. Budgets are still tight but we are coming back with a vengeance. We've won a host of new clients too."
However, Parmenter added that 2012 was a "weird" year for the company, with the Olympics and the Jubilee disrupting its usual business as events were cancelled or postponed. "It was a year to add new staff and reflect on strategy," added Parmenter.
DRP last week celebrated the launch of its new offices with an event themed in a 1940s style, complete with a spitfire outside replicating the original purpose of the building as a spitfire engine parts and storage production facility.
DRP spent £3.6m on kitting out the new Midlands building and restoring some of its original features.
