The agency said it made the appointments following an increase in demand across the region. Grass Roots recently made "double figure" staff cuts following a restructure of its Marlow office.

Four Grass Roots recruits join the operations team – senior project manager Charlotte Booth joins The Group Travel team with Paula Jackson, who has been in the industry for 23-years, joining as a specialist in reservations and ticketing for groups. Also ex-Grass Roots, Marnie Tutt and Emma Strudwick join the Venue Sourcing team.

Meanwhile, Carly Gargett and Jeanette Sanderson – both senior project managers, also join.

Elsewhere, joining the Flights team is Claudio D'Amico and Louise Crane has joined BCD M&I as a regional account manager for EMEA.

Natalie Treleaven-Ford and Sarah Austen join the Finance team.
